Bruschetta Burger

Breaded Kayem charbroiled beef patty with mozzarella, basil and balsamic vinegar recipe for foodservice application.

Serves: 1

Ingredients

1 Kayem 4oz. Charbroiled Angus Beef Patty, defrosted
120 grams biscuit dough, divided in half
1 slice fresh mozzarella cheese
1 slice tomato, sliced 1/4"
1 fresh basil leaf, julienned
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Defrost Kayem Charbroiled Angus Beef Patties desired in the refrigerator for 24 hours prior.
Roll the biscuit dough pieces into a ball and flatten until the two pieces are larger in diameter than the patty.
Place the burger on top of one of the biscuit dough circles and top with slice of tomato, basil, and mozzarella.
Drizzle the mozzarella with the balsamic vinegar.
Place second the second biscuit dough circle on top of the patty and pinch edges together with the other, making sure the seam is tight.
Place on pre-heated grill and cook for 5 minutes.
Flip the burger and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and slightly browned.
Remove from grill and let stand for 1-2 minutes before serving.
